  • Focus improvements around schools, transit corridors, and commercial areas
What role should public transit play in regional growth, and how should future transit investments be prioritized?ranked from highest to lowest importance
No response
Do you support the municipality taking responsibility for snow removal from sidewalks adjacent to private properties?single choice

No, maintain the current system where property owners clear adjacent sidewalks

Do you support expanding fare-free transit for the Region?single choice

Yes, for all residents

Would you like to provide any additional context for your views on transportation?candidate's own words

Roads are free but buses are not. There are too many vehicles for our roads and the problem grows. Less cars drastically reduces the congestion problem.

Please describe one criterion or principle that should not be compromised when making transit investment decisions.candidate's own words

Look to the future of which vehicles will work in the long run. Don’t use antiquated information. We have taken out historic electric LRT, used gas buses, diesel buses, propane buses, and now back to electric LRT with tracks along with diesel and hybrid type buses. How much would money and frustration have been saved had we just switched to battery buses? We need to listen to other winter cities and truly assess the pros and cons of transit.

Please name one specific street, corridor, or project where you would prioritize these changes.candidate's own words

Everyone needs to get around in our city and region. I am a cyclist who also held a DZFM licence for trucks and buses. β€œSharing The Road@ is not feasible in some high traffic routes, so need to separate walkers, cyclists, cars and commercial vehicles.
