Improving road safety for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers on Westvale and Thorndale Roads in Ward 1 are key street infrastructure improvement areas for me. Speeds and obeying traffic signs are a long standing problem. Education alone is not enough. We will need to consider "road diets" in some spots and other traffic calming measures to improve safety in this area. Working together we can and will find solutions. I would prioritize this initiative.
